The server (or VM) must meet the following requirements:
• For aGalaxy, recommendation of 16GB RAM and 800Gb disk
• 2.5 GHz Dual-Core CPU (or better)
• If installing aGalaxy on VMware or KVM hypervisors, the VM instance is installed on a local data store to the hypervisor.
• The local data store should be backed by a drive with the following minimum characteristics:
• Interface: SATA 3Gb/s
• Cache: 32MB
• The following drive characteristics are highly recommended:
• Interface: SATA 6Gb/s
• Cache: 64MB
• Minimum Average Read/Write Throughput: 100MB/s
Installation of aGalaxy is certified for the following environments:
- VMWare ESXi 6.0
