8GB for medium installations (>1000 endpoints or >1 million expected results in a search)

SecurEnvoy Data Discovery Agent
1-2 GB for an endpoint agent. For an agent running over a fileserver or cloud
platform then 4GB or more is recommended.

Database
By default, the manager uses an embedded DerbyDB database, to use an external database you need to configure the connection file in <DATA_FOLDER>\dbcredentails.txt
